Moorhill Boarding Kennels and Cattery is situated in an idyllic rural setting just outside Southminster. We offer your pets a healthy, happy and secure environment in which to stay. We have accommodation for both cats and dogs and we will ensure that your pet is loved and well cared for in your absence.

We comply with all standards set by the Animal Boarding Establishment Act of 1963 and we are fully licensed by the Government. Our dogs are kept in separate runs with a covered day area and a separate sleep area. The runs are disinfected every day, are kept cool in the summer and centrally heated for the winter months. We have a completely separate kennel for bitches on heat or with pups and we are equipped to deal with larger breeds.

At Moorhill we also house cats and can accommodate single cats, pairs or family groups. The catteries are all supplied with scratch posts, toys and cushions and all have large windows with seats.

We are happy to dispense any medication and will take your pet to the vet if needed. All of our animals must have a current vaccination certificate and an identity disc. You are welcome to visit your pet during their stay, although for security reasons we ask you to ring beforehand.
